My name is Aarav Arikara. I am a piano teacher who specializes in music theory, band performance for piano and ear training. I have worked with students of different age groups from children to adults. I have graduated from Los Angeles College of Music with a degree in Music Production and Recording and I worked as a tutor during my time in college. I have also spent time working with children as a volunteer at Hopeless Music Academy. In addition to the piano, I also teach the guitar and bass guitar.

I do most of my classes as private lessons and I take an approach of tailoring them to my students’ individual learning styles. I like to know how a student processes information and I try to teach them songs they are really interested in. I also have exercises for music theory to help students better understand concepts and ear training exercises that focus on melody and rhythm.
