Ive been playing piano for about 5 years and have been intermediately teaching for 2 years. I plan to attend Berklee College of Music this coming year with a major in film and media scoring. I hope to be a film composer when I graduate. I will be studying piano pedagogy to continue to master my craft. I’ve personally performed a variety of pieces on different genres for piano. I believe that with slow, guided practice, anyone can learn to play to a more than proficient level. When it comes to progress the biggest key to success is consistency. Piano is the basis for all of my compositions. I believe it is the best instrument to learn if someone wants to learn music theory or composition. Understanding piano is a giant leap in understanding concepts such as harmony and orchestration. I hope to be able to share my skills and knowledge with as many people as possible.
