I’m an experienced music teacher who loves inspiring kids and adults to grow as artists. I believe true musical achievement comes from following the paths of self-expression that excite us most.

Learning isn’t one-size-fits-all—we each have our own struggles and passions. I create a supportive space where students feel encouraged to explore, take risks, and develop both musically and personally. Music isn’t just a skill; it’s a tool for self-discovery, confidence, and lifelong learning.

I teach piano, voice, guitar, songwriting, live performance, and music production, with a focus on helping students build strong technical skills while developing their unique artistic voice. Over the years, I’ve watched students grow not only into skilled musicians but into curious, empowered individuals.

About me:

I cut my teeth studying classical piano with an acclaimed pianist, and in high school I became a keyboardist and vocalist for one of the United States’ largest megachurches. I began to teach piano lessons while in high school.

I later went on to NYC to pursue a music career, where I founded an indie rock band with a cult following. As frontwoman and keyboardist for the band, I produced four albums that were praised by magazines like Spin, Magnet, and Billboard. With the band, I toured extensively and appeared on stages with notable artists such Sharon Jones and the Dap Kings, Kate Nash, Nick Waterhouse, and Lucius.

I also have over ten years of classical vocal training from an acclaimed opera singer, and I can help vocal students combine healthy singing with contemporary singing styles.
