Hi! My name is Miss Cindy and I have been teaching for 47 years. I have taught hundreds of students from age 4 up into the late '70s.

Everyone has their own individualized learning style and I love to teach lessons to someone based on how they learn best.

Learning piano can be fun and rewarding. I have played for over 60 years and I love it more than I ever have!

Together, we will set your personal goals for practice time and decide how many days that you want to practice. I will help you with your music reading, musical expression and proper approaches to the piano.

We will choose some of the music that you love and I will show you some of the beautiful classics that you can learn also.

I will teach you music theory on a level that you can best relate to and start from there.

Over many years I have had the opportunity to work with people who have had no piano background and then others who have maybe had some basic training and want to progress in their study of piano. I have also taught saxophone students and students who were studying bassoon. My level of expertise comes from over 20 years of study in both those instruments.

Specializing in teaching, based on individualized learning style allows for excitement in learning and not frustration. If a person is more auditory and is forced to only learn by a visual teaching style without allowing for the student to use the strength of their auditory learning style, The student will become frustrated. I tried to funnel all learning through the strength of the learning style and then pull in all necessary aspects also.
