Hey! Let's get started with the basics or unlock the next level of your musicianship. I've had a ton of experience working with all ages at all levels. I have a really good balance of meeting you at your ability level. I'm a music teacher and find that as long as you're willing to work hard and consistently engage with your instrument, you'll soar to new heights. If you're interested in piano lessons, I like to use a method book, but I have a lot of personal materials that I can customize to your needs. I think that the basics are the basics, but we can always work on a specific goal you have or an upcoming performance that you need to prepare for. I teach chorus and general music every day so I can tutor you in Music Theory or Composition. I love talking about music outside of performance and using our ears to analyze why music works the way it does. I have a high success rate with preparing students for solo festivals such as NYSSMA. If you're interested in musical theater, I am an expert at building audition cuts, expanding your repertoire, and coaching your audition book. I have a Masters in Musical Theatre Conducting from Ithaca College and have worked with professionals by helping them find their own way through the industry. I am comfortable coaching someone from anywhere remotely. We'll build a system of working together digitally. I am a trained pianist and can create recordings or practice tracks for you.
