My name is Daniel A Nelson, I’ve been playing piano for 40 years. I’ve started teaching again in 2023. I enjoy teaching small groups beginner to intermediate. my teaching foundational skills include rhythm and ear training along with scales and chords. I customize piano lessons according to each student goals. I believe in making lessons stress free and enjoyable, yet helping each student to develop they’re in born talent.

My special focus is on ear training and rhythm I emphasize confidence or perfection. Being consistent is key. I believe music education should be practical ,inspiring and rooted in real musical experiences not just theory on paper.

Music is a lifelong skill, so I aim to equip students with tools they can use beyond lessons—whether that’s playing in church, performing live, producing music, or simply enjoying the instrument for themselves.
