Hello! I have been a church musician for almost 45 years. I have worked in Catholic and Protestant churches. I operated a private instruction studio in the Hudson Valley for 20 years until I moved away. I specialize in Beginner and Remedial Piano instruction using the Robyn Method, which includes technique, musicianship, theory, sight reading, and keyboard mastery. I am ready to come out of retirement and I am willing to teach beginners, remedial learners of all ages, and teachers who would like to master the Robyn Method. The Robyn Method was loved and used by teachers of concert pianists and offers all aspects of piano keyboard mastery. In addition, I supplement with precious little performance pieces that complement the Method and provide fun and delight for my students. Given the proper teaching Method, anyone can learn how to play. Two of my former students went on to study at Juilliard. I specialize in Beginning and Remedial keyboard. I have an extensive background in Sacred Music from ancient Latin to contemporary. I sing with the Catskill Choral group. We have 2 concerts a year with the Catskill Symphony Orchestra. I teach online from my residence now.
