About Me
Emma Ejwertz is a professional recording artist, songwriter, multi-instrumentalist, and music educator with an international career spanning performance, recording, songwriting, and music production. Originally from Sweden and now working in the United States, Emma brings a unique blend of European musical training, American pop/rock influence, and real-world industry experience into every lesson she teaches. She is a member of the Recording Academy (Grammy organization), reflecting her active professional involvement in the global music community and her commitment to maintaining high artistic and industry standards.
Emma began writing music and studying instruments in her early teens, later attending a performing arts high school in Sweden where she focused on music performance and composition. She then continued developing her career in Los Angeles, collaborating with established producers and musicians and building a strong foundation in both live performance and studio recording. Throughout her career, she has released multiple original records, written songs featured in television, and performed live in a wide range of settings — from intimate venues to large stages — giving her a deep understanding of how music works both technically and emotionally.
As a multi-instrumentalist, Emma plays piano, guitar, bass, harp, banjo, and additional instruments, which allows her to teach music from a truly well-rounded perspective. While piano is often the foundation of her teaching, she integrates rhythm training, ear training, songwriting concepts, and emotional musical expression into lessons. Her goal is not only to teach students how to play notes correctly, but to help them understand music as a language — something they can use to express themselves, regulate emotions, and build confidence.
Emma specializes in online piano lessons for beginners through intermediate students, including children, teens, and adults returning to music later in life. She understands that every student learns differently and tailors lessons to match each person’s pace, goals, and learning style. Some students want to learn classical foundations and technique, while others want to play pop songs, learn chord progressions, or begin writing their own music. Emma is passionate about meeting students exactly where they are and helping them build sustainable, joyful musical habits.
