Prepares some students (if they want) for recitals, competitions, and examinations with a focus on achieving high marks, if that is their goal.

I prepare many students to enjoy and love performing music that enables joy and enhances satisfaction in their lives. This is the BEST part of teaching piano for me. It gives me a sense of fulfillment to communicate effectively using patience with each student. That is my ultimate goal!

And no student is ever forced to play in a recital! Some students rather perform for their families or just for themselves. If that is their goal, that’s wonderful.

More than ever these days, the world can be a difficult place to live in. So learning a musical instrument can help people (adults and kids) learn to perform music that they love. I want to help students develop a coping strategy to ease stress, anxiety and yet feel a sense of accomplishment. I want to enhance a student’s satisfaction, self-confidence and self esteem. That is so important in these challenging times we live in. And many people admire and respect students of all ages studying a musical instrument. And piano is one of the most universal instruments of all.
