Hello, I am Hope, a college/university professor of music. I have taught music for over 30 years. I am highly qualified in music - I have 2 doctorate degrees in Music, in Music Performance and Music Education. I have taught ALL ages in music from aged 4 years old, through 94 years old. I teach many instruments and voice. I also teach music theory, music history, world music, ensembles (orchestral, choral, Mariachi, folk ensembles, pop music ensembles, religious music ensembles, etc.). My principal instruments are Piano, Organ, Voice, Viola, Trombone, Flute. And I also teach violin, cello, some guitar, world music instruments, and more. I also teach Music Composition and Music Arranging Techniques.

I am an easygoing and open-minded teacher. I can adapt to many learning styles. I also have a master's Certificate in Special Education (Blind and Visually Impaired Education). Many of my students are music teachers and music professors in K through 12 schools and in universities.

I have been awarded MANY awards for Teaching Excellence over the years. My students tend to love me a LOT :-)

My students tend to progress very quickly because I encourage and inspire them to do their best. I am a great nurturer of talents. I can quickly spot innate talent and bring out people's individual gifts.

I have studied music in the Caribbean, in Europe (England and France), as well as in the USA.
