My name is Jayleigh and I am a passionate and dedicated piano teacher who has developed a strong love for music throughout my high school years. I have been actively involved in my school’s Catholic musical group for the entirety of my high school journey, where I gained valuable performance experience and a deep appreciation for collaboration and musical expression. Being part of this group has shaped my skills, confidence, and understanding of music in both solo and ensemble settings.

I have studied the AMEB piano syllabus throughout my Piano journey, developing strong technical skills, musical expression, and a solid understanding of theory. This achievement reflects years of dedication and disciplined practice, allowing me to perform confidently and teach students with a structured, well-rounded approach to learning piano.

My piano lessons are designed to be engaging, supportive, and tailored to each student’s individual goals and skill level. Whether you are a complete beginner or looking to refine your technique, I focus on building a strong foundation in fundamentals such as reading music, rhythm, and hand coordination, while also incorporating songs that you enjoy to keep lessons fun and motivating.

Lessons are typically structured with a warm-up, technique practice, and guided learning of pieces, followed by time to ask questions or explore personal interests in music. I aim to create a positive learning environment where students feel comfortable progressing at their own pace while being encouraged to challenge themselves.

My goal is not only to teach piano skills but also to inspire a genuine enjoyment of music that lasts beyond the lesson.
