About Me
ONLINE PIANO LESSONS!
I have been playing the piano for over 20 years. I have been teaching since 2006 to students of all ages and levels. My greatest educational achievement was studying and receiving a Bachelor of Music degree from Northern Arizona University in 2014.
I want to teach you about music as a new way to communicate, just like learning a new language. Music is a wonderful way to express yourself and build up a variety of other skills in your life.
Together we will explore and realize goals that will create in you - total musical achievement.
I only offer online piano lessons. I do not teach in person. I have taught dozens of students online since 2020 and all can attest that teaching online is exactly the same, yet more convenient and less expensive than in person.
As an online student, along with a single online lesson each week, you will use the Vivid Practice App where you can keep in contact with me through chat, receiving and turning in assignments and the chance to communicate with the other students in my studio. Using this app is like receiving lessons all throughout the week as I provide instant feedback and instruction.
My other offers include teaching beginner acoustic guitar and ukulele lessons.

Frequently Asked Questions
How much are piano lessons?
$21 for 30 minutes $26 for 45 minutes $31 for 1 hour Tuition is to be paid before the first lesson of each month. This can be paid through various apps such as Venmo, Zelle, PayPal, Cash App, etc. There will also be a $2 monthly fee for using the Vivid app that all students will need to download. This is an app that helps me stay in contact with you during the week.
How do online lessons work?
You will need a fairly new laptop computer with high speed internet. I use the Zoom app for lessons. A smart phone or tablet will also be helpful since I use the Vivid Practice app along with the online lessons. You will need a keyboard or piano in your home for lessons. I can provide recommendations if you have not yet purchased one.
How are lessons scheduled?
We will decide upon a set day and time to meet every week. I charge tuition for four lessons each month. If by chance, your lessons fall on a day that has 5 weeks in a single month, that fifth lesson will be free. Due to the many lessons I have scheduled, keeping the same day and time each week is required. There may be times when a lesson may be missed. In that case, please contact me ahead of time and I'll do my best to reschedule to another time you choose. I am very flexible.
How can I enroll in lessons with you?
Simply contact me today and we will schedule a time that is convenient for both of us. I look forward to meeting with you soon.
Why does your t-shirt say "Trust No One?"
That was a gift from my mother for Christmas a few years ago. It is a reference to the TV Show The X Files. I am actually a very trustworthy person and will also trust you to practice your instrument everyday and send me your completed assignments on Vivid.
