“I specialize in Classical Piano Performance”
About Me
I am a Bachelor of Music student in Piano Performance at the Oberlin Conservatory of Music, where I study with Professor Robert Shannon. Since September 2025, I have also been working as a Secondary Piano Instructor, teaching students from a wide range of musical backgrounds.
Through my teaching, I have developed a student-centered approach that focuses on building both technical skills and musical understanding. I design individualized lessons tailored to each student’s goals—whether they are beginners exploring piano for the first time or more experienced players refining their repertoire. My lessons often combine technique, repertoire coaching, and musicianship training, helping students not only play the notes, but truly understand and express the music.
I believe that learning piano should be both structured and inspiring. I aim to create a supportive and encouraging environment where students feel confident, motivated, and curious. I am especially passionate about helping students develop good practice habits, musical independence, and a deeper connection to the music they play.
Whether your goal is to build a strong foundation, prepare for performances, or simply enjoy music more fully, I would love to support you on your musical journey.
