Having received degrees from The Juilliard School and the New England Conservatory, I have a thorough musical knowledge that I wish to share with all of my students. I have taught for over a decade, and strive to teach a combination of technical proficiency and musical adeptness. The lessons one can draw from playing an instrument are not just important within the context of the instrument, but are applicable to many other areas in life. I love to teach for this reason- lessons are not just self important, but are often universal. My students will study scales, etudes, and exercises to help their technical ability and also standards in the repertoire to connect with the emotional side of music. I also aim to create a supportive and nurturing environment for each one of my students- the most important part of teaching is having a good relationship with each person that shares their musical journey with me.
