It's a pleasure to meet you. My name is Krista and I have been teaching piano for over 25 years. I tailor my teaching style differently for each student. Everyone learns differently and at a different pace. When it comes to teaching piano, the main thing I like to focus on is fun and passion. I believe in my students and know that they are capable of learning anything they desire. I'm very thorough and organized in my teaching style because I want to make sure that my students are retaining what I'm teaching. I want my students to thrive and express themselves in a way that best suits them. I started taking piano lessons at the age of 10 and mastered it very quickly. I had the best piano teacher in the world. She would enter me into competitions that were held at State University colleges. I competed in front of judges and was rated on my performances. I received trophies & awards. I also participated in many recitals over the years. I'm so grateful that I had these types of opportunities because they inspired me to become my best. I believe music is very healing so it is one of my greatest joys in life to help people heal and love themselves. Teaching piano is one of my favorite things to do. I love to inspire all ages and show them a fun way to learn.
