Hello! I'm Mary Gonzalez. I am a graduate from California Lutheran University with a BA in Music and Music Production. I have nine years of experience with playing piano and have previously tutored classmates for classical piano as well as passed a piano proficiency curriculum during my undergraduate studies. I have experience working with children TK through 12th grade as well as adults.

I am a dedicated teacher who wants to make learning fun as well as beneficial for my student's goals. Be it that you are looking for a future in music or simply wanting to explore an interest in learning piano, I am flexible and like to adapt each individual student's curriculum based on their goals, previous experience, and availability. My teaching approach, while I come from a mainly classical training background, I like to reinforce teaching proper technique for whatever genre a student would like to approach (such as pop, movie soundtracks, etc.) sight-reading, theory, and diverse repertoire all while keeping in mind of each student's preferences and goals.
