I am a music teacher and performing musician with experience teaching private and group lessons in piano, vocals, guitar, bass, and drums. I am skilled in music theory instruction, vocal coaching, sight-reading, ear training, and preparing students for live performance. I am passionate about helping students grow as musicians while continuing to develop as a performer and artist myself. I have experience teaching students ages 3 and up. I have experience with teaching guitar, bass, piano, vocals, and drums for ages 3-7. My main expertise is teaching piano and vocals. I usually teach the song first to my students and then explain the theory behind it to keep it fun. I love to hear my student’s goals to help them grow as musicians. I teach all kinds of genres but, I have the most experience teaching rock and pop. My personal favorite genres are soul, jazz, and pop. I look forward to meeting new students and helping them grow as musicians.
