A University of Cambridge-educated music teacher with over 20 years' experience in teaching piano and voice to ages 6 and up, I blend a thoughtful approach to notation, playing by ear and theory to match any musical need, and will work with you to find the path to success that suits you best.

I am warm and friendly - laid-back when you want me to be and energetic when you need me to be! You will never need to worry about my teaching style - I will meet you where you are and guide you to a holistic understanding of your relationship with the piano. Whatever you want to play, and however you want to learn, you can count on me to work with you - first to help you set your goals, and then to help you achieve them.

There is no judgement or guilt when you learn piano with me. I understand that everyone has busy lives, and even the best intentions might not translate into real-time practice. We will work together to envision a practice schedule that can fit into your day-today life which is realistic for you.
