I’ve been teaching piano lessons for 3 years and enjoy meeting students where they are. I adapt to the student’s goals and needs to make the most progress towards goals that are important to the student. I have experience working with children, teens, adults, and seniors. I have worked with students who are interested in classical music, pop and rock, improvising, music theory, and other focuses. Each student is unique. I try to recognize strengths and abilities while adjusting my teaching style based on individual learning style. I am comfortable teaching music theory as part of your lessons if that is an interest.

I am currently studying music at East Carolina University with a concentration in music therapy. I have played piano for almost 18 years and accompanied choirs and soloists for the past 8 years. I enjoy playing classical, hymns, accompanying, pop, and musical theater. I look forward to working with you towards your musical goals!
