Piano Lessons in Alvin

Hello, I’m Joseph Booth, I hope you are ready to have fun and learn how to play music. I teach music because I believe it an important part of education that need to be focused on and also an important part of the history in culture if the places we come from and live. It’s a vital part of the human experience and I’ve been lucky enough to share that with many students and people for many years. You must be willing to be uncomfortable and discipline yourself in learning the piano it will not be easy sometimes but with guidance, good habits, and practicing the right way you will begin to see improvement in your abilities. My approach is breaking down one beat at a time so that student is practicing each beat slow and with the correct fingering so that as they don’t develop bad habits, it is with slow practice sometime with a metronome the student will achieve their goal. I A little abiut myself, I gre me up on the gulf coat playing music with my family on stages since the age of twelve, and was in band playing trumpet for Alvin high school and Alvin community college; following that I attended Stephen F. Austin St. University where I studied to become a music teacher, jazz and classical music. Students can expect to learn from the same teaching I learned at the university. They can also expect to have fun and learn to express themselves through music.
