Hi! I’m Shannon, and I’m so glad you decided to check out my studio :)

My Story:

I grew up in the suburbs of Chicago in a big, musical, Irish family full of teachers.

I played the piano, saxophone, sang, wrote stories, and acted in plays and musicals starting in grammar school, and continued professionally into adulthood.

I’ve always loved and connected with kids, older folks, and people in general, so it was natural to follow the path into training others to do the things I loved most. :)

For almost 30 years, I have performed and taught private lessons and group classes in Singing, Acting, and Piano; Directed Plays, Musicals, Talent Shows, Run Creative Writing and Specialized Camps, and everything in between!

I’m a results-driven teacher with deep knowledge built on working with hundreds of students throughout my career and developing unique action plans tailored to their individual needs.

My natural silliness and desire to nurture my students as people, as well as creative minds, help to create a warm environment where they can feel comfortable stepping out of their shells and into the magical world of the arts.

My instruction style is about having fun, making connections with the material and the audience, and of course, using proper technique.

I believe strongly that confidence breeds success, and my students are my proof.

I’m so proud to say they have taken leading roles in school and local plays, won contests, been on the professional stages, and signed with big talent agencies in New York City, Los Angeles, and Chicago. They’ve done National Touring companies, commercials, movies, and voice-overs with big companies like Netflix and Nickelodeon—even performed with famous artists like Jon Batiste, Jane Lynch, Marcia Cross, and Melissa Joan Hart!

I relocated to Aurora, Colorado, and have an intimate home studio in Utah Park, separate from my house to avoid pet allergies and allow for total privacy.
