Piano Lessons in Batesville

I have been teaching for 6 years, and have been studying piano for 17 years.

I have experience teaching private lessons and piano proficiency at the college level.

My aim is to help students of all ages and abilities become confident performers and competent musicians through an understanding of how music, piano, and the human hand work.

My field of expertise is in classical and romantic piano performance. Students can expect to learn music theory, how to read sheet music, and music history.

I also specialize in small handed piano technique, to help students avoid injury.

I enjoy helping beginners and young children grow at their own pace.

Beginners can expect patience and encouragement at each lesson to help them reach their goals.

My advanced students have gone on to achieve recognition through the National Beta Club, state competitions, and school events. I have helped students pass piano proficiency exams, and become pianists for local choirs and churches.

I have helped adult beginners play the music they love, and find a new passion that that they find rewarding.
