Piano Lessons in Beacon

I have been teaching piano for students of different ages for 7 years. I have a masters degree in music therapy as well as scoring for film and interactive media, and have studied composition and guitar in university. I have experience working with students with a variety of different needs, including seniors and children with learning disabilities. I hope to support my students to explore their favorite styles of music in order to find motivation to learn and improve their musical skills. This might include analyzing and practicing music from video games or TV shows depending on the student's interests. I also have experience helping students to prepare for the RCM (Royal Conservatory of Music) music test from level 4 to level 8, which evaluation in piano, ear training and music theory. This can be a valuable tool to help motivated students push themselves and their skills further and build confidence in their knowledge.
