Learn Piano with Noam Rapoport
“I specialize in Classical Piano Performance, Jazz Improvisation, and Music Theory And Composition”
About Me
I’ve been teaching piano for over a decade, working with students of all ages and levels, from complete beginners to advanced players preparing for exams and auditions. I hold a Master’s degree in Music Theory and Composition from New York University and a Bachelor’s degree in Jazz Piano Performance from The New School, which allows me to bring both strong technical foundations and creative musicianship into every lesson.
I teach a wide range of repertoire, including classical works, jazz standards, and contemporary music. I prepare students for the ABRSM exams at all levels, with a clear and structured approach that builds confidence and musical understanding. For students interested in jazz, I offer focused training in improvisation, harmony, and stylistic interpretation. My teaching style is dynamic and tailor-made: each lesson is carefully adapted to the student’s goals, learning style, and musical interests, ensuring steady progress while keeping the process engaging and inspiring.
