Piano Lessons in Benicia

Hello,

My name is Su Hyun Lee.

I majored in music beginning in high school and later earned a Doctor of Musical Arts (DMA) degree in Composition and Music Theory from Boston University.

Based on a strong foundation in classical piano, music, and theory, I have taught piano by incorporating a variety of musical genres. I especially specialize in foundational education for young children who are beginning piano lessons.

My curriculum includes scales, sight-reading, ear training, and performance repertoire, and I also help students prepare for the ABRSM program, which can be beneficial for building their academic and college résumé.

I teach using a variety of methods to keep lessons engaging, and I help students stay motivated and experience a sense of accomplishment without becoming bored.
