Piano Lessons in Boynton Beach

Hi, my name is Jo-Ellen,

I have a Master of Music degree in piano performance and I have nearly four decades experience teaching students of all ages and abilities, from beginners to college level. I teach music reading, theory, and musicianship.

My second Master’s degree is in psychology and I have a deep understanding and respect for how the subconscious mind forms habits, both positive and negative, and in my teaching I focus on harnessing the power of the subconscious by assisting students in forming helpful habits at the keyboard.

My general approach is to first teach basic reading and playing skills, and then with some sound skills under their command, the student can branch out to play various music genres that they are inspired to explore.

Many students like the convenience of online lessons, and this is something I’ve been doing for the past decade.
