Piano Lessons in Spuyten Duyvil

I teach all styles and levels, from beginner to advanced intermediate. Everything from Billy Joel, George Gershwin, Scott Joplin, Beatles to Bach, Chopin and Haydn and Taylor Swift!

I have been teaching piano in Westchester County for over 20 years. Music is everything to me and I take teaching seriously but I try to make sure my students enjoy playing as much as I do! I am a very hands on teacher and perform quite a bit for my students during the course of a lesson. I hold a Bachelor and Masters' degree from The Juilliard School. Besides teaching, I am a very busy freelance pianist and perform at private functions all over the metropolitan area.

I use two different method books depending on the age or aptitude of the student.

For older and more advanced children, I use the Belwin Piano method and for younger children, I use Piano Adventures.
