Piano Lessons in North Brookline

Hi! I am a classical pianist with extensive performing and teaching experience. I have an undergraduate and a master’s in piano performance and participated in piano competitions. My teaching experience involves children as well as adults in private and group settings. My goal is for you to be able to master piano performance playing music that is of interest of you and provide you with the tools to play giving it your own interpretation to the pieces. In our first class, we will discuss your learning goals, composers of interest and previous piano performance experience and music theory knowledge. We will then choose a piece according to your skills and preferences. My approach to learning piano involves not only technical aspects but also combining with historical and contextual knowledge and music theory. Such approach will help you become an independent classical piano performer and have a throughout piano learning experience.
