Piano Lessons in Bedford-Stuyvesant

Hi, I’m Inbar, a New York–based musician and music educator specializing in piano, violin, and double bass.

I’ve been teaching for over 10 years, working with students of all ages and levels, from complete beginners to advanced players. Alongside teaching, I’m an active performing bassist in the NYC jazz scene, playing at well-known venues and collaborating with international and Grammy-winning musicians. This real-world experience is something I bring directly into my lessons.

My teaching approach is personalized and supportive. I adapt each lesson to the student’s goals, whether that’s building strong fundamentals, preparing for performances, or simply enjoying music. I focus on technique, musicality, ear training, improvisation, and confidence, while keeping lessons engaging and motivating.

I have a strong background in classical music as well as jazz, pop, and contemporary styles, which allows me to teach a wide range of musical directions.
