Piano Lessons in Homecrest

Santiago was born in Medellín, Colombia. He started his music studies when he was 14 years old. He took music lessons at the Red de Escuelas of Medellín in Cello, music theory, Orchestra, and Choir. In 2008 he started his Bachelor's degree in Music on classical voice, harmony, counterpoint, musical analysis, and piano. He has performed in academic and artistic performances with University of Bellas Artes, University of Antioquia, and Prolirica Foundation of Antioquia.

Understanding the world of music allows us to create and play with purpose—it becomes a language we can truly speak. Our online music theory lessons will help you read and write music, understand chords, scales, and harmony, and become a more confident, creative musician.

The first step I take when meeting a new student is learning about their history and experience with music. Then, during the first lesson we will play a few simple tunes and do some improv. Gradually, we will dig deeper into the world of music and explore its basic elements.
