Piano Lessons in Near Brush Hospital

I have been teaching and studying Piano and Theory for myself since 2003. I'm always studying to keep improving and learnint to implement the best strategies to teach my students in order to become successful.

I use a lesson book, but also implement scales, arpeggios, sightreading, eartraining. I like to think of other creative ideas to keep my students engaged and solidify note reading and pattern recognition. I also include the importance of learning and studying past composers in the Baroque, Classical, and Romantic periods.

I also like to include performances when students feel ready. I like to express the difference between performance ready practice and day to day practice.

I am also able to teach child or adults who have special needs. I use a more personal strategy specifically for each individual. In my studio each student is treated with respect and I recognize how each student learns differently. I incorporate methods and techniques to best suit each individual but also teach discipline and proper etiquette at the piano.
