Hi, I’m Jonathan, a professional pianist, composer, and teacher with a degree in Piano Performance and Composition. I studied at the New England Conservatory Preparatory Program in Boston and later at The Hartt School, where I developed a strong foundation in piano performance, pedagogy, theory, ear training, and composition.

I have several years of teaching experience working with students of all ages, from young beginners to adult learners, and from complete beginners to advanced pianists. My teaching style is thoughtful, encouraging, and highly individualized. I believe strong technique should always support expressive playing, so my lessons balance technical development with musical understanding, stylistic awareness, and artistry.

I specialize in classical piano, with particular strengths in Romantic and Impressionist repertoire, piano technique, and musical interpretation. In lessons, I help students build healthy technique, expressive tone, confident practice habits, and a deeper connection to the music they play. I also incorporate theory, score study, and performance preparation so students grow into well-rounded, confident musicians.
