Piano Lessons in Myers Park

Hi! I’m Margaret & I own Tyler Music Studio. I’ve been teaching in Charlotte since 2009. My studio just completed our annual spring recital, which was Wicked & Wizard of Oz themed! I teach piano and voice, mostly in Myers Park and South Park. I sing with Opera Carolina, several choirs at Queens University and at the Cathedral of Saint Patricks.

I use the most popular piano teaching method right now, which is Faber Piano Adventures. I focus on the lesson books in the Fall & Spring, during the holidays we play Christmas and holiday music, and we focus on our recital piece in the spring. In the summer, I focus solely on Disney and pop music.

My voice students usually take a combination of piano and voice lessons.

For piano, I started teaching at age 5, for voice, age 9.
