Piano Lessons in Conroe

My name is Aimee Anne Humble. I’ve been a musician since the age of eight. I got my degree in music from Northwestern State University in Natchitoches in December 1998 and began teaching voice and piano in January 1999. I have also taught music in the public schools at the elementary, middle, and high school levels. I have a very traditional approach to teaching piano. I teach students to read music so they can identify note names on the musical staff and the piano. Students will also learn proper fingering techniques for playing scales, arpeggiating, and playing within their specific songs. I will teach major and minor scales and key signatures. Students will learn about dynamics, tempo, accents, textures, and much more. I teach a variety of different styles of songs as well so students can experience classical, jazz, blues, gospel, and other genres. I look forward to making music together!
