Piano Lessons in North Dallas

I began my musical journey at just four years old on guitar. After some difficult early experiences with teachers, I nearly gave up on music altogether. Thankfully, I stayed with it and eventually found my way to piano, which became a major part of my musical life.

After graduating from USC, I worked in the film scoring industry, creating original music for major brands such as Air Jordan and working under Hans Zimmer. That experience gave me a strong foundation in musicianship, creativity, and professionalism. After stepping away from the industry and moving to Dallas, I discovered something unexpected: a real love for teaching.

Since then, I have found joy in helping students grow in piano, voice, composition, and other areas of music. My teaching style is student-driven and highly personalized. In the first lesson, I focus on understanding each student’s personality, interests, and goals so I can shape lessons around what inspires them. If a student wants to learn a favorite song, I will often transcribe or adapt it for their level and use it as part of a broader lesson plan.

I believe students learn best when they feel excited, understood, and challenged in the right ways. Every student I teach follows a structured path with method books and foundational training, but I always tailor that structure to fit the individual. My goal is to help each student build strong skills while keeping their passion for music alive.
