Piano Lessons in Southridge

Hello, my name is Jeff Payne! I’m a professional musician, songwriter, creator and recording engineer/ producer. I have been playing music all my life growing up in church I was surrounded by instruments and great musicians. I taught myself guitar, piano, bass, drums, ukulele, singing and am learning new instruments all the time! I have been teaching these instruments for around 25 years. I starting writing songs as early as jr. high school. I have an Associates degree from Weatherford College where I played piano, guitar, and sang in the school choir. I also have an Associates degree from Dallas Sound Lab school for the recording arts. I also attended UNT and lived and performed in Austin Texas then moved to Deep Ellum (Dallas) where I taught and performed original music in church and clubs. I now live in Denton, where I have been teaching for the last 5 years.

I teach rhythm and lead guitar, piano, drums, bass guitar, vocals and ukulele! I can easily teach anyone with my simple, fun approach.
