I’m a piano instructor with over 20 years of teaching experience, specializing in classical training, popular music, and music theory. I also emphasize correct body mechanics to help students play comfortably, efficiently, and with reduced risk of strain. Early in my career, I had the opportunity to study with a renowned pedagogue, completing an apprenticeship that allowed me to hone my craft and deepen my understanding of effective teaching methods. Over the years, I’ve worked with a wide range of musicians—from brand-new beginners to university-trained performers—and my students have achieved success in competitions and performances alike. My approach is personalized to each student’s goals, learning style, and musical interests, blending technique, expression, and a deep understanding of music.
