“I specialize in Music Theory, and Chord Progressions”
About Me
Teaching music brings me immense joy because I believe in the transformative power of learning. I love sharing my skills with students of all ages and backgrounds, helping them discover their own musical voices. I often remind my students that "Learning a new skill isn't easy, but your determination can overcome any doubt." I am excited to connect with those who are eager to learn and grow in their musical journey!
I meet my students where they are and adapt as we evolve through our lessons. Every students learns different but typically falls into 1 or 2 out of the 3 teaching styles I utilize. 1.) Methodical teaching where we stick to a strict lesson plan, this is usually best for beginners. 2.) Improvised teaching, where we still have a lesson plan but use it as a baseline and adjusting when necessary. This is best for students who have some experience playing but have gaps in knowledge. Students like self taught are an example. And 3.) Student based, this is for students who want to learn a particular song or prepare to play in a band, this method is best for older students who just want to play and younger ones who want to know basics about chords to play with other musicians.
