Laurelyn has been performing for over 25 years and feels truly blessed to share her talents through teaching. She has been instructing children and adults of all ages for the past twelve years in Texas, and is enjoying building her studio here in South Carolina. Laurelyn has a Bachelor's of Music in Music Theatre from Oklahoma City University, and is certified in Music Education EC-12. She has been classically trained and believes that it is the foundation to a healthy and long performance career, no matter the instrument or genre being pursued.

Laurelyn is known for her supportive communication style and ability to motivate students even when the work gets difficult. Practice is key when becoming a musician! Laurelyn loves working with motivated individuals, and proudly focuses on creating a patient and accepting atmosphere while allowing the body to adapt to different musical techniques.

Whether it’s building a new skill, or furthering a passion, Laurelyn is here to enhance your journey as a musician. All private students will receive well-rounded instruction, including music theory, performance techniques, audition preparation, and the exploration of a wide variety of music styles.
