Drum Corps. to Orchestra to Garage band and even complex composer with the usual brooding deep thought associated, I've had a lot of fun being a musician for a long time.

What I love most about music is what no realizes. It's what it teaches and gives you in the rest of your life. The feel of music, some timing, a little rhythm, melody and sense of harmony. Relate it to math, science, cleaning your room. Music is discipline and effort for worthwhile results. All it costs is effort and none is ever wasted.

My initial goal is to understand your interest in music. Second, how you'll relate to music. Third is you understanding the instrument, music and notation; later composition.

3s are weird in music, you'll see. Three elements of music. I have three goals for every lesson. Technique becomes rhythm, notes become melody, collusion (understanding) becomes harmony. Beehtoven and Metallica never repeated anything more than 3 times. Give me a little bit of time to help you get to where you're on your won thinking freely with music.
