Piano Lessons in Gaithersburg

I started my teaching journey with 3 sweet girls in my old neighborhood, in 2015. I was doing a trade. Two years later, I made my first money teaching a private lesson. I learned quickly that not everyone will love piano like I do, but if anyone can instill a love for piano in someone else, it's me. My own piano lessons came from someone who had a deep love of the instrument.

Piano was basically an extension of her (my teacher). I had an incredible front row seat to all the layers and nuances of what it means to be a pianist. The journey, then, became a vital part of my education. My teacher's sense of oneness with the piano quickly translated to me, and in so many ways I channel her. She showed me that piano was not just an instrument, but an experience. This is a lesson that I, through trial and error and with the help of a college education, have learned to tailor to students all across the board.
