Piano Lessons in Greenbrier

Hello. I have a BA in music and have been teaching for 28 years. I teach all ages and all levels. Students learn at different rates ( and practice at different rates), so I've learned to set the pace according to the students needs. Besides piano, I teach flute, guitar and cello. I played for my church for 17 years and performed weekly. I have also accompanied many students who have been in competition and helped them win 1st place on their instrument. I was trained classically in college, but feel students need to enjoy music they like, as well as presenting them with a well rounded curriculum. I love teaching theory and feel it is a vital part of becoming a proficient musician. Lastly, I feel learning music needs to be fun and enjoyable, so it can be utilized in the students life for pleasure and relaxation. Thanks, Jamie
