Piano Lessons in Greenville

Hi! My name is Hema Nambi, and I have a BA in Music with a concentration in Music Therapy at East Carolina University. I have a strong background in piano, voice, and working with people of all ages. I’ve been playing piano for about 6 years through both Western and Indian classical training, and music has always been a huge part of my life.

Along with piano, I sing, play guitar and ukulele, and have experience leading music activities and adapting music for different learning styles and needs. Through my music therapy practicum experiences, I’ve worked with children, older adults, and individuals with different abilities, which has helped me become patient, encouraging, and flexible when teaching.

I really enjoy helping students build confidence and make music feel fun and approachable rather than stressful. Whether someone is brand new to piano or already has experience, I love creating a supportive environment where students can learn at their own pace while exploring music they genuinely enjoy. I’m especially passionate about making lessons engaging, positive, and personalized to each student’s goals and interests.
