Piano Lessons in Cadence

Hi, I’m Valentín, a multi-instrumentalist and music educator based in Henderson, Nevada. I’ve been teaching piano since 2022 and also work with students in guitar, drums, and voice. I hold a Bachelor of Science in Psychology from Nevada State University and an Associate of Science from College of Southern Nevada, which deeply influences the way I teach — I don’t just show you what to play, I help you understand how you learn best.

My lessons focus on building strong musical foundations: reading music, technique, rhythm, and theory, while also encouraging creativity through improvisation. I teach classical, jazz, and blues styles, so students learn both structure and freedom — how to read what’s on the page and how to express themselves when the page disappears.

My approach is patient, encouraging, and personalized. Every student learns differently, so I adapt lessons to your goals, whether that’s playing your favorite songs, preparing for performances, or developing serious musicianship. I believe music should feel empowering, not intimidating.
