Piano Lessons in Hermitage

My name is Tim, and I am a pianist and vocalist based in Nashville with over 15 years of professional experience, including live performance and music education. I graduated from the University of North Texas in 2017 with a bachelor’s degree in Jazz Studies.

I teach students of all ages and skill levels, from complete beginners to advanced musicians. With more experienced students, I focus on jazz and contemporary styles, incorporating improvisation, music theory, and ear training to help develop a strong musical foundation and individual voice.

My teaching style is relaxed and student-centered. I work closely with each student to understand their goals and musical interests, then tailor lessons to support their growth while building essential skills. I have experience teaching private one-on-one lessons and enjoy helping students gain confidence, creativity, and a deeper appreciation for music.

As I teacher I am still continue to learn through my colleagues to improve and give my students the best experience possible.
