Learn Piano with Ana Tejeda
“I specialize in Classical Piano, Classical Violin, and Music Theory”
About Me
Born and raised in Cuba, Ana Tejeda is a professional violinist with over 15 years of music training. She began privately with training in piano and solfeggio at the age of 6, and started her music career at 7 at an elementray art school. There, she gained an extensive education in music theory, art and music history, harmony, and solfeggio. She was accepted into the Municipal Conservatory of Havana, where she completed four years of superior level graduating with honors. During all her years of learning, she had the opportunity to host numerous solo recitals, and as a member of the National Opera Symphony, accompanied famous soloists from around the world, as well as the Cuban National Opera, and the National Ballet.
Ana moved to the US in 2016 and since then she has dedicated her time to music instruction and helping students of all levels; from music enthusiasts to professionals. Currently, she works as a full-time violin and piano instructor for all ages, background and skills. She has prepared students for solo recitals, contests, performances in orchestras, as well as those who wish to pursue a career in music.
Her wish is for her students to reach their aspirations and musical potential while having fun in the process, and for her students to learn, appreciate, and incorporate art as a way of thinking. Not only will her students be playing songs in no time with her personalized approach, but they will also be building a strong foundation in music reading, music theory, ear training, sight-reading, and other important techniques while adapting to their personal tastes and goals.
