Piano Lessons in Irvine

Hi! I'm Lucie, a current sophomore at Northwestern University double majoring in Piano Performance and Political Science. I study at the Bienen School of Music, where I focus on classical piano and have extensive training in music theory, history, and ear training.

I have several years of experience teaching piano to students of all ages and levels, including neurodivergent children in the Evanston area. I also have a background in tutoring elementary school students across subjects, which has strengthened my ability to explain concepts clearly and adapt to different learning styles. My teaching approach is patient, flexible, and student-centered. I am very open to individual needs and student’s goals, whether it’s building technical foundations, developing musical expressions, or preparing for auditions. I like to emphasize building confidence and developing consistent practice habits.

I attended OCSA as a Piano Major from 7th–12th grade, which gave me a strong pre-professional foundation in performance and chamber music. I was OC Artist’s of the Year in 2023 and also have performed with several orchestras including the LA Youth Philharmonic at Walt Disney Concert Hall, Southern California Philharmonic, and Orange County School of the Arts Symphony Orchestra. I competed both nationally and internationally, and have been awarded in over 30 competitions.

I’ll be in the Irvine/Orange County area and am available to teach in-person. I can teach any beginner-advanced levels or as a practice/support teacher. I’m flexible with pricing, so feel free to reach out with any questions. Thank you!
