Piano Lessons in Hudson Exchange

Hi there,

I’m Evan Lin, a pianist, record producer, and audio engineer based in New York City. I started my classical piano training since 3 years old and had learnt other styles like Jazz, Blues, Gospel ever since. My majors at Berklee College of Music are contemporary writing and production & Music Production and Engineering.

My teaching experience started with the online streaming group class with Aiya Music company during the pandemic, back then I’d need to set up cameras, OBS, Chordie, and Loopback to make sure the piano/arranging/music theory classes have the best delivery. While I was teaching I also worked as a session musician, so I could be a great fit to cultivate the next generation session players.

During my time at Berklee I also included my knowledge from music production and engineering into my teaching approach, as well as the jazz improvisation skill. The students who learnt from me could be starting from nothing to be able to make a full song by themselves.
