About Me
Hello! My name is Andrea and I have been teaching piano, guitar and voice for over 30 years and I absolutely love it.
I would be happy to travel to Westerville, New Albany or this side of Gahanna!
I have taught every age group and also kids and adults from many different countries. I specialize in working with autism and ADHD through music.
We can play by ear, read music, create music - whatever fits your style the best. For my beginners, I like the Alfred and Bastien books, and for the very young ones (preschoolers and kindergartners) I like to use Music for Little Mozarts book series.
I taught piano lessons for 4 years online so I am quite familiar with that format and comfortable with it.
I was a hospice aide for a long time and spent many days and evenings playing music for my patients and their families. So I really do know the value of music as a comforter and a spiritual tool - not just something academic to learn.
