Piano Lessons in Kissimmee

I started studying the piano before turning 13. I fully understand the joy the piano can bring when everything goes right, I also understand the frustration when things don't. The piano can go from "fun to annoying" very quickly due to forced expectations and environment. I went through this as well, quiting the piano for almost 2 years when I was about 15. Thankfully I came back to love the keys and have continued playing after more then a decade.

I strongly believe to teach piano, you must first show how fun it is. Ensure to separate the piano from "just more homework I have to do". I teach in a friendly, inviting manner with a strong "tell and show" approach. Don't just talk to a student and sit back, play along with them step by step to show the way. All basic performance methodology will be instructed and firm foundation confirmed.

All students will be taught to reach whatever level they wish. I strongly encourage "performance play" after completion of a piece. While great music itself wows the crowd, how you interact with them elevates any moment. A music sheet is not a prison, but a firm foundation that allows you to explore beyond its confines once it is understood.
